We started early and made it to 6:30 until Ed and I could not move another step! We were SO tired! So we had done everything we wanted to do and left with three happy and tired kids.
My favorite parts about our Disney day:
1. Riding the rides together - Micah thought it was so cool that Mommy and Daddy were riding with him and not standing watching him ride
2. Watching the wonder in the kids eyes when they saw the characters
3. Stitch - Oh boy - So we went to get in line to see Buzz, one of the kids favorite characters and all of a sudden Micah starts to cry! We figured out he saw Stitch, who he had no idea who he was nor had seen the movie, and he wanted his picture with him. And from that moment on, it was love! Why Stitch, I have no idea!
5. Micah riding his first roller coaster - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and also Splash Mountain!
6. Caleb and Haleigh passed out in the stroller for a nap!
7. The desperation of a child that wants to see his favorite character! Caleb saw Woody and Jessie and immediately was so excited and waved at them. The line was so long, we did not stand in line. Instead I sat the stroller at the end where they could watch other children get their pictures with them. As I type, I realize how cruel that was! Anyway, Caleb just watched in amazement as they stood just feet from him. He waved and Woody waved back. Then in a last minute effort, Caleb reached his hands out and yelled, "WOODY, I WANT YOU!"
8. My husband abandoning the plan on the 4:00 ice cream treat and instead giving the Mickey Mouse ice cream at 1:30! He caved, but we all loved him for it! Daddy to the rescue!
9. Watching my husband actually enjoy his day in Disney's world!
